Mods

Romestead has no mod menu of its own. Mods load through BepInEx 6 for Romestead or through ModLoader, and most mods need one of them installed first.

Install BepInEx with r2modman or the Thunderstore Mod Manager, or copy its files into the folder that holds Romestead.exe and start the game through Steam; a console window opens with the game when the loader works. Mods built on Mod Settings Menu add their options under Settings.

    Romestead Localization API is a small dependency mod for Romestead mod authors. It lets mods register localized text through JSON files or embedded C# strings, then reapplies those strings automatically when the game loads or changes
